Fair Enough?

 The video installation is an attempt to question the use of the word “fair” in the phrase “fair enough”, which is commonly used in England. Coming from a country where majority covet a fairer skin tone the humour and irony is not lost on me. I hoped this work made the viewer ponder and question, as to why good (enough) equalise (colour) fair? Is there a deep seated cultural hegemony at work here? This idea deeply entrenched in the psyche that- only fair is lovely, can be found across cultures, especially the ones having a long colonial past.
