AN ABSENT PRESENCE
‘AN ABSENT PRESENCE’
Through this work I carry on addressing and explore existentialism - what does it mean to exist, or what existence actually means?
This work is a response to what I see and experience majority of people doing around me.
With context of today’s virtual social platforms that engage us to a point of addiction as a result, disconnecting us with the real world
around us. We are always trying to be someplace else; conversing with somebody else; wanting to know about someone else- other
than the person right in front of us.
In other words, “being bodily present, but mindfully absent”.
